A good thing to do is to expose yourself to new situations, they may be frightening, but that's a great way to get used to new things in your life. For things to change, you must change, if you want to change. As a human being, that's how you grow, that's how you learn. From doing new things and stepping up to who you truly need to be. Talk as much as possible without being a nuisance, dodge all of the negative thoughts that arise from doing new things. The more you do, the more you may be able to handle in the future.

I have always struggled with social anxiety especially at work. I think it may come from the fact that work is more of a professional environment where mistakes are a huge deal. When you are with your family, friends, etc, it is easier to feel more comfortable and safe. I do not know if you can ever stop being nervous at work, maybe you can get more aware of your anxiety and talk to someone about it. I think it's really important to get used to situations and stuff, but also finding a few people you really like at work can do wonders.
Sometimes I hear a voice in my head that tells me negative things like everyone hates me or I should kill myself. What should I do?
