Sweating is normal under the nights, because the body relieves unnecessary particles from our skin. Sweating can also be a side-effect of many medicines like antidepressants. If this problem bothers you constantly, I advice you to talk with a doctor.

Well, there could be varied reasons. One, you are way overdressed or with too many blankets. You can try to minimize these or either open the windows at night. Being too hot can actually make you feel nightmares :) Secondly, you could be having nightmares without. If you have had some problems that bother you more than what you want, they can appear in your dreams. Peacing yourself and remembering it's alright and that it will turn out better are a must for a good sleep. There may be more reasons, but those are the usual ones. Remember that a cool room and an eased mind make wonders in your sleep

That could be a number of various things. I would suggest going to go see a doctor to rule out any medical reasons. Also, consider things that you are going through. Is this something that developed recently? Is this something that you notice occurs at certain times throughout the year? If so, it could be anxiety. Think about if you are anxious or nervous about anything in your life as well.

I've noticed that when I wake up sweating, it can be due to experiencing a nightmare during the night. I might not be aware while I'm having it, but generally when I wake up with a feeling of unease I tend to have sweat quite a bit as well.

Anxiety is something that could be causing it. At night when we are sleeping, our bodies have a lot going on. We carry so much stress with us throughout the day that our body wants to release some of it during the night. Our brains are constantly thinking. One thing that could help, is meditation before bed. It might sound cheesy but its actually really relaxing and it calms your mind before you go off to sleep.

Sweating in our sleep is not super uncommon, but like with many things the reasons may vary, and ultimately you are the expert on your own experiences. Some reasons might be a high sodium diet as too much salt can push out water from our bodies as our bodies try to metabolize during our sleep, or nightmares that cause your body to trigger a sweat reflex, or it's possible you are legitimately too hot during the night, or it's also possible you have a temporary or long-term condition that causes nightsweats such as persistant withdrawl syndrome. Whatever the case, if sweating in your sleep interferes with your nightly or morning wellbeing, it's totally okay to ask a doctor about it. Good luck!
