Theres a lot of reasons why you could be waking up and panicking in the middle of the night. Its at these points that I would advise you to see a medical professional. One tip though, is before you go to bed, write down absolutely everything on your mind, and keep it in a notebook locked away somewhere :)

This happens to me and I think it's when I haven't prepared for the next day! Something that works for me personally is writing a list of what I know I need to do. I kind of "unload" my brain before bed and it helps me sleep more soundly knowing I will get back up in the morning knowing all the things I have "to-do!''

When you wake up in the morning, you tend to think of the entire day ahead of you and what it has to offer, both good and bad. Instead of immediately waking up in the morning and thinking about the entire day, try waking up with a positive thought in mind, such as 'today, the weather's supposed to be nice', and then take baby steps to take on one thing at a time instead of everything all at once.

Take 15 deep breaths, sit up slowly. Go make a cup of tea or get a glass of water and write down what is worrying you about the day. Then figure out how you can lessen that worry
