There could be multiple reasons you wake up feeling this way. A couple questions to ask yourself; Am I eating healthy? Is it time for a new mattress? Am I doing strenuous work during the day without staying hydrated? Am I sleeping correctly? Learning yoga or doing stretching exercises before bed may be a good start.

They are symptoms of fibromyalgia, if not, you may have over-worked the previous day. If it continues or you get worried, please consult a doctor.

The answer to this could be a variety of things. You may have possibly slept in a weird or different position than you usually sleep in, you may have done a lot of physical activities and are still recovering (playing sports, working out, exercising, etc....)

it may be because of stress. you might be over working yourself or spreading yourself way to thin. make sure you take time to relax and settle down. and drink plenty of water before bed so it will replenish your muscles while you sleep.

Sometimes I am not in the most comfortable position that my neck and head need to be in. I don't always end up in the position which I started my rest in, or I may be sharing my bed with someone else and the blankets or pillows are not straight, I will often times get up again and remake the bed to start from the beginning and then I am assured a comfortable night. Another cause of having an uncomfortable night's sleep is from binge eating either beofre falling asleep, or sleep walking to the refridgerator, and then I am semi-asleep with a stomach ache and lamentation.

I wake up feeling sore when I'm anxious or depressed. I tend to toss and turn more too when I'm anxious & end up sleeping in weird positions which doesn't help. Yoga makes it a million times better. I used to just wanna sit around doing nothing but stretching out those achey muscles can get you back to normal in minutes

Depends on what you did the day/ night before waking up. I would go see a doctor and talk to them about it if it is as serious as it sounds.

It could be a lack of good sleep, or if you exercise a lot it could be the after day achiness. Multiple reasons.
It could also be a very common muscle disorder called fibromyalgia. Look it up. See if it fits your symptoms. Talk to your doctor if it doesn't go away after about a week. :)

You may have a bad mattress or it could be that you’re just not sleeping well and spending time tossing and turning, cutting back on caffeine and trying to establish a consistent sleep schedule can help. Try not Watching T.V. or eating in bed. Basically just keep distractions to a minimum. Better sleep habits = Less aches and pains.
