Worries can cause early wakings from my experience. If you have too much on your mind and are worrying about how you will get it done, or if there's a situation at school for example and you're worrying about how to tackle it, it can lead to walking up too early.
A good technique is to try and sort any problems you can the night before (don't stay up too late!) and then you can fully relax to sleep. Another technique is to tell yourself "I will not think about -- until after 8/9am".

There is various reasons for this happening. It could be that your going to bed to early in the evening and hence why you wake early. It could be a sleep pattern, to explain, you may have woken early one morning for some reason and your body clock has noticed this and it's become habit/pattern. Another reason could be if it is Summer, when the mornings start to get lighter earlier sometimes we can wake because of this, getting black out curtains can help if this is the cause. Waking up early in the morning may seem like a quite annoying habit but in reality, it truly has a deeper meaning to it. There are a lot of reasons that this could be happening to you and other people. One reason is that it could be signs of insomnia if you also have trouble falling asleep at night. Another reason is probably your brain is just used to the cycle of going to sleep and waking up that early and/or because it is lacking something. (Exp: food, water, bladder issues). I find that if I use blackout curtains to stop the sun from coming in too early, cover up any clock displays or other lights, and avoid looking at bright computer or phone screens late at night, I can stay asleep longer.

Because there is probably something in your mind which is bothering you which leads you to not sleeping properly. Try to clear out your mind before going to bed at night.

It could be a number of factors, waking up to use the restroom, temperature, noise, but often times when I am stressed or anxious I will wake up a few hours before I would like to. Try clearing your thoughts before bed and if you happen to wake up early relax, you have plenty of time to fall back asleep.

I used to wonder why I would wake up so early at times, and I would always come back to the same conclusion. I had to be up at 5 every day for my last job, I think that by doing that I trained my body to always get up at that time.
