sometimes if you get your mind and body use to waking up early (say like for getting up for work) it can cause you to continue to do so even after you've stopped working because that is what you have trained your mind and body to get use to doing.

It could possibly be a bad dream. Sometimes I have those without knowing it, and wake up, not being able to fall back to sleep. It's not a great feeling, being a teenager and all.

Maybe it's because you have alot on your mind... It used to happen to me. Especially around exam time. Mostly it was because I wanted to do so good in the exams and my parents wouldn't have accepted less than 3rd place

It could be that you're stressful, but it could also just be your "personal clock" that's waking you

This is caused by a certain stress hormone in the morning. Personally I feel that it's a blessing because I wake up at a specific time automatically without the use of an alarm clock. The only way to solve this is to relax and destress before going to bed.

While waking up too early in the morning is indeed a good practice for many, for others it can be a real source of hindrance. Possible reasons may be anxiety due to an upcoming event, or anxiety over a past event in your life that has occurred, but which your body believes may still occur. This puts your body into the fight-or-flight stage, which causes you to wake up extremely early in the morning.

Your mind might be to overwhelmed with things to stay in a sleep state. It happens to me, I wake up every day at half 8 with or without an alarm. It doesn't matter what time I go to sleep, I'll still wake up with the lists of worries, anxiety and stress.

It's possible that you're nervous or anxious about a past event or an event that may happen in the future. I would highly suggest that before going to bed, you write down your feelings and thoughts about the event so you won't wake up worried. Also, you may be encountering depression. It's very common to have difficult staying asleep when you are dealing with depression. You could try exercising in order to release the stress hormones from your body and to also improve your mood!
