In my personal experience, strange dreams can come from a multitude of places. Sometimes drugs or alcohol can induce strange dreams. While other times it can just be your unconscious mind trying to sort information from your day. Our brains are like very literal children, they want to make sense of every image, sound, or feeling that we experience. Although, some things can be new experiences that it cannot understand. So our brain will try to make up situations or images that connect the other feelings we are having in order to make "sense" of it. On the other hand, our logical side knows that those dreams are not real life and that those things could not happen in real life. Using websites such as calm.com or deep muscle relaxation videos on YouTube can help your mind and body relax; especially after a long day. This can assist with a more restful nights sleep.

Dreams can take us to a place that no one else can. You may be having strange dreams because of an event or something that recently take place. Dreams are weird and they happen to everyone, so remember you are not alone on this. It's okay to dream on.

There are a couple of reasons why you might be having weirder or more vivid dreams than usual, sometimes it has to do with a life experience you are going through, or possibly a shift in hormonal balance in your body. If you are very disturbed by the dreams or you seem to be dreaming so much that you're losing quality sleep time, I recommend to see a professional about it, otherwise it should be fine :)

There could be any number of reasons, from the foods you eat (and when you eat them) to certain medications that you may be taking. If you're really concerned about your dreams, I recommend speaking with your primary care physician, whom can then refer you to get the some more answers.

Dreams are proven to be related to your thoughts and mental state! I truly believe that dreams are symbols and have meanings. An online dream dictionary might give you some insight - whether you believe it or not.

It could be what you're eating before bed! Resist eating two hours before bed and don't have anything too sugary either. Usually sugar or certain vitamins can cause vivid dreaming.

You're probably just a strange person. That's not to be mean, but this implies a lot of mental activity, which usually translates to people being weird. No worries.
