The biggest reason I have trouble sleeping at night is I have a lot of thoughts that keep circling around in my head. One of the best ways I have found to deal with it is to either write down my thoughts or text important themes to myself. It helps get it out of my head and allows me to sleep.

Well I had trouble sleeping simply because I had 1 trillion things going through my mind There can be many factors that play into truth both such as insomnia which I had or in which I have or just trying to answer questions that need answers the best way I try to fall asleep is just simply lying in bed and counting sheep It might not work for some people but counting sheep does put me to sleep the idea of thinking something so incredibly boring seems to ease the mind so maybe thinking of something incredibly boring or reading a really boring book might help you : everyone's different and try something that works for you, personally^^
