A lot of hormonal changes occur every month when you have [or sometimes not have] your period. Feelings of unease, restlessness, nausea, headaches, backaches, etc are symptoms that often accompany periods. However, you shouldn't worry too much about it--it's only natural for something like that to happen when you are shedding all that blood in such a short amount of time! But if your problem persists and is hampering your everyday activities too much, you can visit your gynecologist or general physician to talk about the sleeplessness and maybe get some medicines prescribed.
