You probably have trouble sleeping from the extra horomones in your body. They can make you feel different emotions ;ie. Sad, angry, irritable .. So you are probably feeling these and not being able to sleep. :)

It must be because of hormonal imbalance. Do you feel nervous? Try drinking lavender and ashwagandha tea and reading in bed if you like. It`s very therapeutic, stress reducing and natural. It also helps balance female hormones

It all has to do with hormones. Most women/girls get affected with their behavior. Others get affected in other areas. Depending on your age you should definielty look into some melatonin pills/Gummi es or even Liquid Nyquil Z. These are non habit forming and can help a great deal during your insomnia nights. Make sure to read the direction labels clearly &&warnings.! :)

Periods cause your hormones to go crazy. Your body goes through a lot during this time, and difficulty sleeping is sadly an unfortunate side effect of this hormonal imbalance. Nausea, mood swings, stomach cramps, back aches and headaches are also very common.
