Maybe it has to do when you try to go to sleep? Sometimes if you go too early you'll spend more time awake then asleep so you may not get enough sleep at night and feel tired during the day so you might have no trouble at all then

Maybe because you're a night owl.. There are two types of people: early birds and night owls.. early birds tend to like the morning.. night owls tend to stay up at night... and be more productive at night time..

That's a common problem. I had the same problem, I was actually to energetic at one time. I'd put all my energy into one thing, which is why I felt exhausted for the rest of the day. I'd fall asleep on any moment of the day, but then when the vening arrives I'd gain my energy back. That's why I couldn't fall asleep, since I'd have to much energy. But I tried to put my energy into different things troughout the day, which helped a lot! and everytime before I go to bed (I still do this) I drink a hot cup of tea, chocolate milk or just milk in general. And I can assure you that it helps!
Good luck, Jill x

When you go to sleep at night, the circumstances are quite different. The surrounding is silent, you are alone and also lights are dim or off.It creates very effective condition for the mind to wander and the thoughts and feelings rush in.Whereas during the day,all these circumstances are absent which makes it easier to fall asleep. Also it may happen that your stomach is empty while going to sleep at night and it makes it difficult to fall asleep.

It might be that your internal clock is a bit off because of weird hours in the past. You could try and reset it by not sleeping one night.

Perhaps your days give you a lot of stress, which make you think about them during the night, but sleep provides you a happy escape during the day.

This can be because your sleeping pattern is now out of sync. By sleeping during the day, you're telling your body that you need the energy for night time. This means that you're awake at night and need to sleep in the day.

I've noticed that I'm tired when I get home from school after a long day of learning. Often times, people will have dessert as a last meal of the day, which is full of sugar. Sugar keeps people awake at night, which will cause insomnia. Also, often times, people will use their phones or computers right before bed. Screens on technology use blue light which kills melatonin, a substance made that helps sleep. If you're looking to relax at night, try reading a book.
