Sometimes your body is still vibrating with what you did. Try exercises to come down and relax at the end of what you've just done.

Your heartbeat could be raised higher after your exercise. This will cause you to feel quite restless. Sometimes exercising wears people out depending on how hard you exercise. I think you just react differently causing you to feel restless more than anything.

Often times after you exercise, you'll be full of endorphins and energy. This can show in different people (such as euphoria, hyperactivity, drowsiness or sleepiness, etc.) So if you're having a hard time sleeping after you exercise, it may be a good idea to give yourself a cool down period and allow yourself plenty of time after workouts to wind down so you can fall asleep.
