It may be a question of sleep hygiene. What do you usually use your bed for? If you use your bed for activities, consider ceasing that.

You probably are staying too close to social media, tv and stuff. Make an effort to turn it all off an hour before bed time so you can actually get some well needed rest. light some candles, read a book, and relax!

It's completely normal to be distracted by elements in our lives before going to sleep, this is how our brains work unfortunately and sometimes they just don't want to rest ;) There's plenty of tips and guides throughout the site for insomnia-related issues which you may find helpful, but personally I'd recommend finding slow, relaxing music or therapeutic videos to help you relax and slow your train of thought.

I get distracted easily before going to sleep by technology. I'll sit up on my phone or tablet browsing the Internet and streaming which causes me to stay up late and not get much sleep. It causes my mind to stay awake, so I try to limit my usage closer to bed time so I can get a good nights rest.
