I think you should first see a doctor to rule out any physical issues. But it could be that you're brain is busier during the day which is making you feel more tired!

Maybe you have been able to set your biological clock that ways by staying up late on a regular basis. Or a less likely reason could be that you may be suffering from a mild form of insomnia and you should consult a medical professional for the same.

Could be altered sleeping pattern issues. You might have gotten used to something made you busy during the night then you slept on the morning and possibly had difficulty adjusting since then. Might also be a recurrent pattern of altered sleeping pattern and your body has finally adapted to it.

I have the same issue! I feel it's just because I'm nocturnal, but it is a savage cycle considering that very few people operate that way. It's because your body's circadian rhythms are different from anyone else's. However, this isn't a healthy habit to cling to, so I try to readjust myself every so often.

This all has to do with the sleeping pattern you have set for yourself. You have adapted this possible at a young age and have stuck with it.

It sometimes depends on your mental state. If one has depression or anxiety one is likely to be exhausted but unable to sleep.
I recommend hypnosis for relaxation/sleep, which anyone can find on YouTube.
