sleeping habits can differ from person to person, but to stay functional throughout the day and healthy in general, 7 to 9 hours of slumber is recommended. 10;45 PM is the optimum sleeping time as people usually need at least 15-20 minutes to fall asleep. I hope this helps.

The best way ill describe how much sleep you need is as follows " The total time after which you can feel totally relaxed and wake up without the alarm".. The need of sleep differs from person to person..like teenagers need more sleep and adults may find less sleep totally adequate.. The best way is to figure it out yourself.. because good sleep increases your creativity, reduces mood swings, supports decision making process and the most important.. It keeps you mentally fit

Depending on age, six to eight hours of sleep a night is normal, also there are factors that may require more sleep, such as school, pregnancy ect. However the best way to tell if you are getting a good amount of sleep, is that you should wake up feeling peaceful and rested and not sleepy, setting a routine before bed is always a good option, and to use the bedroom for sleep purposes only, that way when you enter the bedroom, your body realizes that it is time to sleep.

Some people say they can function on four to six hours of sleep each night, but research shows that adults who get fewer than seven hours of sleep — whether for just one night or over the course of days, weeks, or months — have more difficulty concentrating and more mood problems than people who sleep seven to nine.
