Lack of energy is characteristic of depression, meaning the "tiredness" you are feeling is completely normal when you are depressed :) doing small activities like drawing or washing dishes or some stretching exercises, whatever you can manage while in low energy state, can help you manage your mood and get you going a little :)

Yes - that's possibly one of the most obvious symptoms of the condition. It's important to maintain a good amount of sleep - try not to exceed 8 or 9 hours, as it can make you feel worse.

That is definitely a normal biological response to depression. There are so many chemicals in our brains that aren't functioning correctly when we are going through depression.

Yes, sleep just makes you want to sleep it wont help energize you. I encourage you to walk in nature like a park or something, breath the oxygen and the green of the trees helps to or talk to friends, go shopping, staying inside, specially if you sleep will probably make your depression worst.

Yes this is one of the symptoms of depression. You tend to feel low, lack energy and always suffer from fatigue despite having plenty of sleep or even too much sleep. When your mind is struggling, your body will have trouble keeping up.
