Being awake at awkward times of night are normal for adolescents, but it’s unhealthy for your sleeping schedule. There are many alternatives to rolling around restlessly, you can speak to a doctor about medications that may be right for you, listen to relaxing music, watch calming videos that make you tired—ASMR is popular, but I’m sure it’s easy to find your own thing that you enjoy with how open the possibilities are on the internet nowadays. It is easier to sleep if there is nothing worrying you or stressing you out, going to bed crying most definitely keep you up instead. Make sure you’re comfortable in the heat or the cold—your body finds it easiest to sleep peacefully when everything is as comfortable as possible!
