The general consensus is about 6-8 hours on average, however, how much sleep that an individual person needs varies from case to case, only you will know for yourself if you are well-rested - what this feels like is also pretty well described on the internet.

The amount of sleep you need is actually really subjective. Some people only need 4 hours to be at their best while others could need a full 8 hours of quality rest. So its about finding out how much you need and working out how best to get it.
