Six to eight hours usually, but every being is different and some need more, some need less. Sleeping a lot could be a sign of loneliness- there is a lot our sleeping schedule could tell us if you scanned it.

They say the average teenager needs at least 6 hours of sleep, and the average adult needs about 7 hours. But this varies from person to person, there's no textbook answer. In the end I guess it depends on how much sleep you feel like you need to be well rested.

Not too much and neither too little I would say... :) aiming at the right amount your body needs to be most functional at all levels, mind included. Observe yourself in a specific period and notice what suits you best. I personally find it is not always the same amount of time. Everyone might have different needs, so someone might feel ok with 6 hours, another one with 8, yet a third one would need more... it depend also, I think, on what kind of daily routine you are having, what job what mental and physical activities you are doing, context of living (light amount, noise, ...) and habits, health (hormone imbalances that might affect sleep, sleep issues related to other problems such as pains, depression, anxiety, nightmares..., quality of sleep, etc.)... no immediate answer of a right amount of time, but lots of factors to consider

You should get at least 8 hours of sleep a day. Getting sleep is so important, it will make u look and feel more alive trust me, u sleep 4 hours everyday it will show in the future bags under your eyes and everything else, so get a good night sleep.

I get 9 hours sleep daily, however I know people who can function perfectly with only 5 hours of sleep. It depends on how your body wants to function with it's body clock, and the amount of sleep you need can't be changed. Try to wake up at the same time everyday with an alarm, and then just sleep when you feel tired.

Most people say 8-9 hours is ideal. It ranges from ages/ the type of people. 12 to 18 years olds = 8.5 - 10 hrs // Adults (18+) = 7.5 - 9 hrs a day. Personally, it varies. It seems I only need about 5-7hrs and I will still feel great the next day. That may be the same for others. Trust me, do this sometimes but it is still needed to get at least 7 hours of sleep, in the long run. Even if you feel on top of the world the next day when you're running on 5 hrs of sleep. Things could be happening in your brain that you're not aware of. So again in the long run, honestly try and get the recommended hours of sleep aka 7.5-10hrs.
