About 6-8 hours. Really it varies as someone people can survive just on 6 hours sleep a day while others can only survive on 8 hours a day.

I suppose everyone requires different amounts of sleep. It can depend on how heavy you sleep etc and if you nap. it is suggested that you should have around 8 hours of sleep a night.
