Take a minute or two to relax and just breathe deeply. Take some time for yourself and do something that you love and enjoy to do. Taking yourself out of the stress even for a couple minutes can change your perspective of things and sometimes even help you solve the problem that is causing that stress. :)

For every person it is different, we all face different challenges and different things may cause your stress. There are many solutions for solving stress and not every solution will work for everyone and every problem. My personal favorite way to relax with a lot of stress is to take a couple minutes and just pull myself out of a bad situation and try to think of things that make me happy. For example I like art so I might take a couple minutes and plan a day where I will go painting, for others they could listen to music that helps you relax or participate in other activities that make you happy and not feel as stressed. It is good to distract yourself with something you enjoy when you feel stressed.

Stress relief varies wildly from person to person! I find a warm caffeine-free herbal tea helps, as the need to drink slowly helps to calm down your breathing and slow the heart rate. I might watch a TV show I can get involved with, such as a quiz show, so that my mind has to actively think about things other than what is annoying me!

Don't let the stress suck you in. It's about knowing when to say NO, and step out of it. Don't let your friends or family drag you into a messy situation. It's not fair, and it's okay to be selfish in that sense, sometimes, especially for your emotional well-being.

Hit the gym or go for a quick jog, when I go to the gym, I focus on lifting, I live in the present, and I feel clearer after and thats when I focus on the problem. When I go for a jog, I let my mind wanders, and just keep on going, I accept stress (usually resulted from overwhelming thoughts)

One on the best ways for me is to listen to relaxing music. The other way is to look outside my window, I live in nature, seeing nature waking up and looking how nature wakes up. When its to dark or cold, sitting by the open fire at home and taking care that it keep burning give not only temperature extra temperature in the room but also in my mind. Helping other here at 7cups also help em feel better. And as last cooking delicious recipes can also relax me, not at first as its stress to cook but when its ready, eating it is very rewarding.

I really like your question. I have had a habit of getting caught up in the stress around me and in the stress I’m creating in my mind. The actual definition of stress characterized as a persons reaction to a situation so what I find stressful may be completely different from what my mother for example would find stressful. What I have found is right now I have a friend who has chosen not to get angry or upset or distressed about what’s going on in the world right now. He chooses to only watch a small amount of news and he watches it from a factual station. The remainder of the time he focuses on enjoying his life and thinking positive. For me, I went through a period of getting very upset, And I found that when I felt really tense what helped me to relax in to put me in a more positive mood was to put on some dance music and dance around my house and to sing to the music! The key to relaxation is finding what works for you. From my friends they relax by watching television. For me I find television Noisy and stressful so I enjoy and get relaxation by talking out my feelings with my friends while were out for a walk in nature or by dancing and singing in my house to upbeat music or by doing stretches or following a YouTube relaxing yoga routine before bed with positive affirmations being spoken such as “I can handle anything that comes my way“ or“I am a strong person“. Are usually Google ways to relax and will give you a long list of things and I’ll just try different ones and see which one will work for me. I wish you luck in your search – you can do it! Writing into 7 cups may be relaxing to you if you find itHelpful to talk out your feelings with someone else.

When there’s lots of stressful events going on around us it’s easy to get overwhelmed. Something that I find to be very helpful and important is taking the time to slow down amidst all the chaos. Taking time out of your day, maybe at a set time like when you wake up or go to bed, to give yourself a mental break can help so much. This can be breathing exercises or meditation, which help you quiet your mind and focus on your body. Or I find it helpful to journal, just to get all of my thoughts and worries out of my head. Even though a journal isn’t a person, dumping those concerns into it can relieve you of so much stress. Most importantly, remember to take a step back and look at the big picture. Remember to see the good things in your life outside of what’s stressing you out right now. ❤️
