Why can't I stop thinking about how pretty blood is?

Well, because it is pretty. It's a beautiful red colour and the smallest of drops can only be admired for a few seconds before it dries up. A bag of blood you can stare at for hours on end but lots of blood such as at a crime scene in a movie, highlights how how even more beautiful blood really is. The light often makes it look a lot nicer than a bag of blood and it does dry up eventually. It's also amazing to think that something as pretty as that is what keeps us alive. We don't see blood often because of this but when we do, it's a sight to behold.

It can have lots of reasons. Personally, looking at blood made me feel more in control of my life when everything went haywire. It looked pretty coming out, making me feel that yes, I can do something, even if it is harming myself.

It's like people thinking shoes are pretty or that they like sports. Blood and death are beautiful subjects to think about, just remember that in 18th century, during the Romanticism, there were plenty of poets, writers and artist thinking about that all day and it result was the best literature and art ever. My only advice is for you to not be afraid of yourself. Don't harm yourself. Just let the art flow and make some artworks worth your own time.

Blood is amazing because of everything it's capable of. It helps us transfer nutrients and oxygen to so many parts of our body. However, it's better useful IN our bodies. So why not leave it in there to make sure it does its job?
