Call 911 immediately so you can get medical attention. Don't panic, you're going to be okay. Try to cover the wound with a cloth rag using pressure, changing the rag if it gets soaked. You're going to be okay.

It is important to tell someone when you have harmed yourself, as your safety is the priority, it is important someone knows you have harmed so you can be referred to further support, help and guidance onto a path of more positivity. It is important to tell someone about how you are feeling. My recommendation is www.childline.com to talk to a counsellor if need be, or if you need support, then to follow through with this website, https://www.childline.org.uk/Explore/Self-harm/Pages/about-self-harm.aspx

call the suicide hotline IMMEDIATELY. you are worth too much to be killed by a lifeless piece of metal. the feeling of recovery is something people die for, ironically so as it will never lead to recovery. go recover, and let your skin be soft and beautiful.

If you believe you've cut too deep, immediately seek professional help. Apply direct pressure to the cut to stop the bleeding, then gently rinse with lukewarm water and bandage. After that, seek professional help by calling your general doctor, or by visiting a hospital. If the bleeding persists for an extended period of time, call 911.

Don't panic! Using a clean banage or cloth apply firm pressure to the cut and if possible raise it above the level of your heart before seeking help. If the cut is very deep call the emergency services or call someone you trust who can help you seek emergency medical attention. Having someone with you who can help explain will help but even alone they will treat with respect and compassion. Allow yourself to care for that wound and yourself.
