If this has a figurative meaning as in "internalizing your own pain and keep to myself" then yes, it's totally normal. Many people keep their pain to themselves and try to forget their pain by not attending to it. However, if you ask if this is healthy or not, I'd argue that past a certain threshold it can be dangerous to keep to ourselves about our struggles and pain. When we allow ourselves to open up and talk to someone we trust, or speak to someone anonymously, the simple act of just talking about our experiences is cathartic and you can experience healing just by saying how you feel and letting it escape your person. So, often people will keep to themselves but it's always healthier to find a way to release all those negative feelings.
Again, I'm not sure if this question was literal or figurative, but I interpreted and answered it in a figurative way, so if this is not what you meant for this specific question, it may help in another way.
