The best way to get rid of self harm scars is to not get them in the first place. If this does happen though, you can always try using anti-scar creams that should minimize the scar over time, of course only when it's already a scar. And to prevent the cut becoming too bad of a scar, you should take good care of it and keep it clean. If you have doubts of your scar being infected, visit a school nurse or a doctor.

For long-term treatment, use aloe gel. It's really helpful. There are also specific scar creams you can get from the local pharmacy -- even things like eczema cream work to help heal scars. For a short-term coverup you can use makeup or just wear long sleeves.
