Me personally, I simply hid mine until eventually they decided to fade, or what you can do, is carefully rub some Vitamin E onto the scars, some will go away, some might not in which it depends on how deep the scars are.

When I self harmed, I would make an excuse to have bandages or band-aids in that area. Like I burned myself, dog bit me, cat scratched me. Also do your best to not self harm, slowly try to restrict and heal completely if possible. Or try to vent in other ways.

There are oils that you can buy to put on your skin everyday for so long that make them fade. The same thing that is used for stretch marks, I believe.

I don't self-harm but I do know that Vitamin E oil is an effective way to naturally heal scars. I had surgery years ago and I used it to reduce visibility.

there are a couple of ways, While most of them won’t completely remove scars, they will help to minimize their appearance making you feel more comfortable about your body. you can use over the counter remedies like bio-oil or a silicon gel sheest which will reduce them over a period of 2-4 months. there is also a selection of creams you can use such as Revitol Scar Cream. or you can turn down the medical route and go for dermabrasion which removes the top layer of skin initiating the healing process, scar revision which changes the way a scar looks or a skin graft. there are natural remedies that I used to use that I thought worked really well including rubbing vitamin e or olive oil on them. hope this helps :)

I use bio-oil & raw vitamin E. I, also, use coconut-based petroleum jelly (vaseline) and masses the wounds once they have healed over a bit. Massaging reduces swelling and vitamin E & petroleum jelly (vaseline) help rid of the colour & minor swelling. If the scars are small, tanning over them is a good solution. If they are big, you may have more trouble.
