Hi Chloe! I'm sorry you had such a strong urge to self harm. I understand feeling like there's no other way to momentarily deal with the emotional pain, and then regretting it afterwards. There is no way to tell if they will go away fully, but they will significantly get better and look better over time. I've heard (and personally used) coconut oil and it kind of helps!

hey bud!
so sorry to hear that you're struggling with self harm and as a survivor myself, i know how difficult it can be to deal with it...
but please know that you're not alone, and we are here for you!
depending on the depth of cut:
1. if the cut is light and not really deep, (till epidermis) they shall fade away in a few day's time, but will leave a faint white scar.
2. if the cut is deep [till you can see a muscle or tissue (dermis)], it will take a long time to heal up (the bleeding may cease almost instantly) but it will leave a puffed up scar that will take a long time to fade away
please reach out if you think you need help or you need someone to talk to, because self harm can be hard to deal with.
we as a whole community are there for you, and we would be more than happy to listen you out!
loads of love bud
