Anytime that you do something to hurt yourself purposely, it counts as being self harm. Even if you’re not using a ‘traditional’ method to do so, you’re intentionally hurting yourself, which is self-harming.

our body is our temple, we need to take care of it. I think the only technical self harm we should do to ourselves is working out, If you want to feel burning sensations may i consider doing some stretches when you feel the need to self harm? It burns, and it's healthy.
