Self-harm is anything you do that causes harm to yourself. Using acid to burn yourself is included. When you see something you do or something about you as different, do you often think it doesn't count, or that it's of lesser or no worth? You are worth something. You do count. You do matter. You are worth self-love. Every person is different, but we have simliar empathetic struggles; in no circumstance is being or doing something different ever mean you're a bad person or that you don't count. You are not alone.

Yes of course it does. It's harming your body. Any type of physical harm that you inflict upon yourself is self harm. If that is the case please try to seek help. There are many listeners who have been through self harm who can support you and even some qualified psychologist. You don't need to be alone.
