Self harm can mean anything from pulling out hair, cutting, and yes, scratching. You don't have to classify yourself as someone who "self harms", but know that this is detrimental to your body. Try to remember how great you are, and how much you deserve to be happy.

On a personal level I did scratch as a form of self harm, although my bf says it is a form of self harm. Even when you do not bleed, you are still harming yourself to feel good.
