I think it does count as self harm. Because you hurt yourself - self harm. Also, I have the same problem, I scratch myself, but it bleeds sometimes of rage.

Yes, it defiantly counts as self harm. Self harm can be anything: cutting, burning, scratching, hitting, anything that inflicts pain on purpose. The depth of the wound doesn't mean anything, it's the amount of emotional pain that caused you to do it. Try flicking your wrist with a rubber band, rubbing a piece of ice where you want to hurt yourself, punch something soft (not anything that can hurt you), write down your feelings and rip them up, exc. Stay strong and keep holding on!

Yes, it does. Any thing you do to harm yourself in any way at all, is considered self harm. Scratching doesn't demote the value of the fact that you're still committing self-harm.

Yes it does. You're still hurting yourself, or trying to. It's just as serious as cutting yourself until you're bleeding.

Yes, it does - anything one does to hurt themselves counts as self-harm. While it may not be as dangerous in terms of how noticeable and harmful it is, it is still an act done with the intent of harming oneself. I hope everything's okay soon. c:

Any way in which you intentionally cause harm to yourself, whether you bleed or not, counts as self harm. If you do scratch yourself, it can be the beginning of more serious self injury, so I would encourage you to seek support in this.

Yes it does. What matters in self harm isn't how deep you go but what is thé intent behind. If you do it to hurt yourself, it's self harm. You should look for what triggers it, why you do it. Because thé self harm itself isn't thé problem. It's thé suffering that makes you self harm.
