If you cut yourself to deep you can cause a nasty bleed which can kill you. That is why thoughts of self harm are considered an emergency in the medical world. If you ever feel unsafe you should call emergency services and they will take you seriously.

Yes you can. If there's one time you cut to deep or at the wrong place, you can indeed die from self-harm. So please don't do it.

Yes. If you cut too deep, you could hit an artery or a vein. You could also become infected from cutting or burning.

That ultimately depends on what kind of self harm you're doing and what precautions you're taking, but yes, you can die from self harm. If you feel you are at risk I highly recommend speaking to someone about it, such as a therapist or a close friend who can help you stop.

You can die if you got to far. Self harm is an unhealthy behaviour and although the reason is very rarely of suicidal nature you can accidentally hurt yourself really bad. When talking about Self Harm in terms of cutting oneself it is fairly easy to bleed to much and die.

Self harm comes in many forms. Not all of these forms of self harm can cause you to die, however, certain types of harming yourself could lead to death.

Yeah, self harm can result in death. You might end up cutting a nerve or a blood vessel. Over bleeding can also result in death. Infections also lead to death. Please do not self harm.

Usually the intent of self-harm (as it was for me, too) is to try and cope with your problems so that you can continue living, there usually isn't a suicide wish for self-harmers. That being said, there is a lot that can go wrong when you self-harm. You can cut too deep, injure yourself too severely, bleed out, and your wound can even get infections that, if not treated correctly, can be life-threatening. Self-harm usually does not cause death, but it's still a problem and should not be taken lightly.
