I've been texting this person and they said I said something that they disliked because I didn't make it seem like I was kidding. They are being passive aggressive. Won't text me back. Help?

Apologize, and learn from this mistake, sometimes tone of voice is hard to realize through a text message. Try and talk to them in person that way you can get the message across, but don't beg for their forgiveness either. If they know who you are, they will know your truth.

Firstly, apologize. Then proceed to ask what is it that you said that may or may not have offended them. And once you know, reflect back on what you said. Try putting yourself in their shoes and understand how and why it offended them. Note that they can not see your expression as you type, they only see words. So they wouldn't know when you're joking and when you arent. Apologize if you didn't mean to offend them and don't repeat the same mistakes. Some things that may seem as a joke to you, can be serious to another. Great

If they are being aggressive it’s probably good that they are refraining from texting you back. Maybe give them some time to cool down.
