I was sexually abused by a past boyfriend and just now came to terms that it actually happened nearly a year later. How do I deal with this? How do I keep it from affecting my current relationship?

Best is to talk to someone about what happend. That can be with a familiemember or friend. And if that's not possible go to your doctor or a professional who can help you. On internet you have sites like these where you can tell your story their are also many support groups. Just know that you are never alone. Seek help that is feels the best for you.

Hi! I hope you are doing well. I am really sorry to hear that you had to experience this. I am really happy though that you have come to terms with it! No matter how long it takes, you will be okay! To keep it from affecting your current relationship, I think communication is key! Make sure you take everything slow and don't do anything you are uncomfortable with. In regards to dealing with this, make sure you have a great support network! Lean on family and friends and even a therapist, if you are able to. You don't have to struggle with this alone and we are all here for you!
