I love him, but I am not proud of his physical appearance. I'm ready to get married and I think he does not worth my family expectation. How can I be proud of him?

It is very difficult to be proud of someone that you dont want to feel proud of. Looks are not always everything in this world and it is hard to understand that. In life the thing that matters the most in personality and feelings. The way a person treats one and other matters more than the way a person is. Many people in life are very attractive but are they nice? On the other hand, if looks matter to a person a lot then that is a decision that the person needs to make and see what they truly want.

The thing about love and marriage is before you get married, you should love everything about them. If you are not proud of his physical appearance, then you may want to reconsider. It will eventually surface and could cause a lot of hurt feelings and stress. If your family approval means that much to you, maybe you should really think before making that kind of decision.
