I have been married for over 8 years and love my husband so much. But I find that whenever we are out and I see my ex boyfriend I find myself talking to him and catching up on everything. Why is this?

It might sound cliche, I think it's great to be friendly and stay in touch with an ex—just because a romantic relationship didn't work out, doesn't mean you can't still be amicable with each other. Sometimes people are really compatible with each other, but only as friends; a romantic relationship might not suit their dynamic as well as a platonic one does. That's totally fine, and it doesn't necessarily mean that there are lingering romantic feelings between the two of you that need to be resolved. It just means that despite breaking up, the two of you still care about each other, which is a wonderful thing.
