I'm sorry that your friend treats you like this. No one deserves that type of behavior. Sometimes people don't always realize how their actions and thoughts can affect others. Friends should be supportive and have your back. It is an unfortunate situation to be in as you do not want to let go of your friend but it can also be difficult to continue tolerating that type of behavior. Being upset is a completely reasonable response to what you have been experiencing as any one would expect more from a close friend. Reaching out to 7Cups today regarding this issues shows a lot of courage and at the end of the day what matters is how you decide to combat this situation and overcome it. It may take time and it will not always come easy but it is important to start somewhere.
