Yes. There is no time at which it becomes abnormal to have flashbacks of past trauma. There are several different grounding techniques one may use to try to cope with flashbacks. A grounding technique is something that pulls us into the present moment, reminds us where we are now, what we are doing now, what's in the room now, brings us back to our breathing, or in some techniques just attempts to distracts us.
