Is there a certain age when it's too late to have children?

Of course the risk of having a healthy baby increases the older you become once you hit your early 30s. But if you're referring to adoption or surrogacy, etc, I would say just keep in mind your age once your child gets older. Do you want to be in your 80s when your child is going off to college? These are things to keep in mind, but it's ultimately up to you and what you think your ability is as far as being able to raise a child at a certain point in your life.

I believe as long as your body is capable of producing children, then it is not too late. There are benefits and downfalls to having children at 'too early' or 'too late'. If its early, you might not have the wisdom, maturity, or resources and if its 'too late' you might be unable to do many things with your kid as if you would if you had your athletic 20's or 30's body. Each of these flaws, are also the others strengths. But to reiterate, if your body is capable of creating biologically, then its never too late to have children.

There is never an age we reach where we can not contribute to the health and wellbeing of a child, however there is a point in everyones life-not an age-that we are not physically up to the task of child rearing. That point cannot be defined with an arbitrary number though.

Yes, there is. Womens have a limited amount of time to get pregnant. It depends from person to person, some can stop having the ability for having childrens at 48 years old others at 52 years old. It is called the menopause, when women stop ovulating (having the menstruation).

Biologically of course but as we are all different, for certain people it takes more time to 'grow up' to have children, for some this time never comes, so you can't really set a rule here.

Having children is for anyone, over say 18, so long as you think it is the right time. It's never to late really, it's more if you can. Can you afford a child? Keep it safe? Love it? Then there should be no age too late to have or adopt a child.

I think it's up to you to decide if there is an age that is too late to have children. You should explore what's going on in your life and consider if having a child will fit into your life at whatever age you are.

There is no age limit to have children if you have the time and strength to take care of them. If you think you can be responsible for a child and you can have them then you should.

I believe a person knows when they are ready to stop having children. The age is different for everyone and depends on a person's life situation.
