In this context, it sounds like your not getting your needs met and feeling unsupported. This could trail all the way back to when you were a child or baby, a kick back reaction of possibility not been taken care of or support of properly then.

Panic attacks are not your mind's way of saying you're not getting something. It is not another way of complaining about not getting what you desire. It's your mind's way if being stressed or nervous because when you don't get what you want/need, you become stressed about it in a way

It is easy to get frustrated when things do not go the way we intended or desired for them to, and frustration is a major trigger for panic attacks. I find that it is easier to prepare myself before hand for things that may not go my way. I take time out of my day to talk with myself about what needs to happen if things go a different route than what I had planned or wanted them to. Of course, there will still be a little frustration but it is much better than if I had not already thought about what I needed to do in the situation. Find some calming techniques that work for you and attempt to apply those to every day situations when you feel like you may start to panic!

Panic attacks have many factors involved in them. Not all of those factors make sense. If you can remember to do so, try to take note of the situation you are in whenever you feel a panic attack coming on. You may find a common factor you did not notice before. For more information, take a look at our panic attack guide in our self help section.

It's hard not to get your way. I think everyone agrees with that to some extent. It sucks not getting your way. It's upsetting, and everyone deals with being upset in different ways. That might just be your way of dealing with it and that doesn't make you spoiled.

There are strong emotions that can be connected to not getting your way. It's not unreasonable to have a panic attack in this scenario; emotions can be strong and also, not getting your way can momentarily (or otherwise) feel like a loss of control. It doesn't necessarily mean you're spoiled; it may just be a bit of a trigger for you.

I think because there is a little spoiled-ness in all of us, When you are actually having a panic attack, ask yourself "Why?" this question is of little value, because it diverts you from what you can do to help yourself in that moment.
