Sometimes, my heart just starts racing and I can’t breathe for a few seconds/minutes. It feels like I’m having a panic attack but it’s really quick. I don’t know if it is one, or what to do. Help?

I have panic attacks like these too. Here's what I do: I find a safe place, for me that's my bedroom. If I'm in public I just try to find a private space. Then I start by focusing on taking deep breaths (this can be really hard, and that's okay). Then, I take some time to calm down. For me, this looks like watching my favourite show, wrapping myself in my blanket, and just letting myself rest - but find what works for you. Managing panic attacks can be a bit of trial and error. Be patient with yourself, and know that panic attacks are always temporary. You can do this
