There are definitely medications specifically prescribed for panic attacks. Talk to your doctor about your options.

Yes, but these must be prescribed from your doctor. Propranolol is very effective at reducing the physical effects of panic attacks such as increased heartbeat, sweating, shaking, blurred vision, lacking the ability to concentrate.

There are a lot of medication for anxiety and panic attacks. Talk to your doctor. They are the only one who can determine which one is best for you and prescribe medication. If you are not comfortable to talk to your GP, your therapist may be able to refer you to psychiatrist.

There are many different medications available for all anxiety disorders, including panic attacks/panic disorder. Because these medications can be very different for different people, it is important to talk with a professional physician or psychiatrist about which ones may be right for you in your situation. There are both long-term medications and short-term medications available. A professional could also suggest vitamins and supplements that may help, as well.

Breathe in for 4 seconds. Hold for 7 and breathe out for 8 seconds. This is actually proven to help calm yourself down. I have very frequent panic attacks and this helped me so much

The best way to go about seeking medication for panic attacks is through a professional. We here at 7 Cups can not prescribe any medication and it would greatly benefit you to seek it through someone who has way more knowledge than us. :)

There are medications around to help with anxiety disorders that may help with panic attacks. Alternatively, you can find some useful nerve-calming medications such as Kalms and Rescue Remedy that can help ease your tension through panic attacks

There are! But doctors must prescribe them for you. The ones I've taken (Ativan, Klonopin) helped me lots!
