I don't know if it's normal but I know it has happened to me. When I get alone, I fear the worse, I overthink little things, and I end up bringing myself to a panic attack. I wonder if it's normal too but I believe it is.

To my knowledge, panic attacks can occur unexpectedly both during a calm state or in an anxious state. They are sudden episodes of intense fear or discomfort that typically begin suddenly, without warning. They trigger severe physical reactions when there is no real danger or apparent cause. Having a panic attack when feeling alone sounds 'normal' to me. It may be that feeling alone triggers some unconscious fear for you, which in turns triggers your body's natural fight-or-flight response. Panic attacks, while intensely uncomfortable, are not dangerous. They can be hard to manage on your own though, and they may get worse without treatment. If you keep experiencing them, it may be worth seeking medical help.
