The physical symptoms of panic do make you feel like you are going to die, but they are not dangerous. Your body is having an overreaction to physical symptoms that is triggering a "fight or flight" response that makes you feel as though your life is in danger. Relief from panic comes when we can try to ignore our natural response (terror) to these troubling symptoms.

i don't think they are dangerous, they might just be overwhelming. that's why people often go on runs in order to cope with the adrenaline released during a panic attack

It honestly depends. The last attack I had hospitalised me and i was close to cardiac arrest because my resting heart rate was so fast. But I've been dealing with these for years and this was the first time, so it's rare. You have to be very, very careful. Generally though, they're quite mild and can be controlled with breathing methods. It's only severe cases where there is need for immediate medical intervention.

They can be mildly dangerous but nothing to worry about. You won't die from one and you'll most likely get minor symptoms like feeling sick, dizzy etc. The best you can do is to breathe slowly through your nose and out of your mouth to slower your heart rate.

Your mind is playing tricks on you that cause your body to detect stress that doesn't exist thus instigating a physical response. Repeated panic attacks may leave permanent effects on your body donor is good to learn to control them. One thing you should definitely focus on- breathing. Regulate it and slow it down. Move around. Validate your feelings but conquer them too.
