Yes! However in order to do so, you need to take some pressure off yourself. Start by learning how to love yourself. You will get through this. In order to feel confident it takes time. The best way I find, is to take time out for yourself, have a hot bath with some lovely smelling bubbles, have a glass of something you enjoy to drink, or you could go out for the day and treat yourself to something you’ve wanted for a while? These positive things will help you feel better! Don’t ever put too much pressure on yourself! There is no such thing as perfect.

Well first you need to dive deep toward the root. By doing this, you can understand the dynamics of how and why you nourished either trauma or a skewed view of yourself. Perhaps someone you trusted or idolized, said or did something that you believed was true. Remember, you are human. If you were perfect, you most likely would not be living a human experience. We are here to learn, experience and love. However, it doesn’t matter how much you love another person. If you don’t yourself first and foremost, the love for others is wasted. Why? Because how can they take your love seriously and authentically, when you hate the one who’s shedding love.

This is still a work in progress one for me. But my self hatred has definitely dimmed down. Now it just pops up occasionally when I am in a low mood. But it took almost 5 years to just dull down. I watched a lot of positive psychology related videos, read articles throughout these years. But once I reached a too low point, someone gave me a push to seek help. Even then I put it off for about 2 months. Finally went to a therapy session and cried my eyes out. I changed my therapist 3 times. Then I started analysing my thoughts and actions in a detail. I started reflecting. Kept a journal just for low mood. Read the journal when I was free not in a low mood and reflected. So yeah. Still working on it. But I think I am in a much better mindset than I was 2 years back.

Yes, you will! Self-hatred is an awful thing, but it's just a part of life sometimes. We see the bad in ourselves and it distracts us from all of the amazing things that we have to offer. It's very easy to hate ourselves, but it's hard to love ourselves. Self-love takes a very long time and lots of dedication, but it is very easily achievable. It takes a long time because you need to give yourself time. Give yourself space and time. You need, you deserve it. Take things slow with yourself. It will take a while, but you can do it. I believe in you
