First up, they say when you share your feelings of happiness about something it becomes double and more.and when you share your sorrows it becomes lessened..so why not, until and unless we wanna bottle up all our feelings and when bad times come it goes boom where we can no further control them..so prevention is better than cure right.. Also its important cuz we need to voice out our opinions and thoughts, who knows it might be helpful in another way round

Talking to someone about what bothers you unburdens you. You tend to feel better and better when you spit it out and a new and clear picture of it is formed within you.
