I think that sometimes we can daydream about traumatic events and our family being at the hospital because we are missing love. Sometimes that is a sign that you want to be loved and supported by your family or you often wonder who would be at your side.

This is a really good question! I think it can be to do with wanting to be cared for. Maybe you take on a role as a caregiver at home and subconsciously really want the roles to be reversed, for YOU to be the one being taken care of?
In daydreams we can explore things that seem scary or like they shouldn't/couldn't happen. And that's completely normal and fine!

You probably daydream about how your family would react if you were in an accident and needed to be in a hospital because perhaps you aren't getting the attention, love or care that you want so you create scenarios in your head putting them in a place where they'll care.
Getting lack of attention and care isn't really nice, so sometimes (I'm pretty sure everyone has done this at a point in their lives) we imagine imaginary situations where we receive the love and care that we need and desire. I think this is to self-soothe to make up for the attention we don't or didn't get.
