I have often found it difficult to accept that I deserve happiness because I prioritise other people's happiness, wellbeing or even just their comfort. Because I am afraid to hurt other people's feelings, I can end up ignoring my own. My difficulties in accepting that I deserve to be happy as well are thus, in practice, often linked to my anxieties about confrontation. Actually, I think I am deserving of happiness, but I am scared of what I would have to do to get it. You are deserving of happiness. Look to see what it is that is making you unhappy.

i think this way, mainly because i'm so used to making others happy i forget about myself, a lot. or for traumatic events, i feel as if it had happened so i don't deserve to be happy, just because it happened, if it was something very heavy.

Sometimes it is hard to find the worth in ourselves because we do not have a clear view of ourselves. It's okay to be unhappy, but it's important to work towards becoming happy. People make mistakes and that's okay, it doesn't make you a failure.
