Emotions can be very intense. This means that they can be expressed in a way that's hard to handle or keep under control. Emotions like anger can be quite hard to deal with and might seem impossible to control. It might take some practice, or discovering new coping strategies that work to control emotions but it's not impossible, just extremely difficult and can wear you out. Making a conscious effort not to let emotions take over your thoughts and actions is helpful. Humans are complex and emotions are fascinating and it's normal to struggle with keeping them under control.

It can be because you have got mental health issues which or aren't diagnosed properly or stay undiagnosed, or you don't know about all of the symptoms of your diagnosed mental health issues. If not being diagnosed with mental health issues is the case, i suggest you to go to the doctor to get proper treatment. Addressing your mental health issues can be of huge benefit for you as you will be better able to control your emotions among others. If not knowing all of the symptoms of your diagnosed and treated mental health issues which can persist despite of treatment, you can consider getting more knowledgeable about these symptoms and to learn how to address them correctly. If you can't treat them at all, you can maybe try to accept and validate them to feel better in your skin and to be better able to focus on what you can control.

In general, feelings and emotions are triggered by our ideas regarding a neutral surrounding environment. What are your thoughts while you're experiencing these feelings? This may take some research and mindfulness to figure out, but anytime you're experiencing any feelings, start with this question (good or bad). "What am I thinking now, or what was I thinking before I began feeling this way?" You've given your feelings "additional senses" (waves, tingles, etc.), which is a tremendous step toward internal awareness. More internal awareness will assist you in gaining better control over your emotions. As you become more conscious of your ideas, you might take it a step further and ask yourself, "I'm thinking this; what am I going to make it mean?" This may take some effort, but it will allow you to work with yourself if you are unable to sit down with someone for an extended period of time. This should serve as a foundation for gaining further control.
