Why am I so sensitive all the time? Whenever someone criticizes me the smallest bit, I cry even though I know it isn’t a big deal.

If you cry, even when you are aware that the issue isn't "worth" crying, then you might insinuate that you are keeping a lot of thoughts to yourself. It might be a sign that you are emotionally drained, or overwhelmed. In my opinion, the thing that helped my mental health the most was tending to it by self-care, and being able to give myself space and time. Prioritize yourself, and try to identify your emotions in order to work on them, and understand why they are appearing. Remember that you are worthy, and that you shouldn't bite off more than you can chew.

That means you are actually a very caring person! It could be that you can be too harsh on yourself at times and this is very common. There are many ways we can practice self-compassion that improves this! For example, listening to the voice inside us, what's the voice saying? A lot of times, the harshest judgments come from us inside. When we start to confront the critiques from ourselves and generate a warm and compassionate inner voice, what people say can be interpreted in such a different way that it no longer feels hostile. It's a practice we all need to do on a daily basis until it becomes a habit!
